The consortium, led by an innovation consultancy (INnCREASE, Poland), is further formed of a lifelong learning centre (Platon, Greece); a European NGO working on all aspects of lifelong learning (Lifelong Learning Platform, Belgium); a mentoring and consultancy agency working with SMEs (Inova, United Kingdom); an adult education and training centre (DomSpain, Spain); a European network of organizations active in the field of education which promotes digital skills (DLearn, Italy); and a public organisation in lifelong learning education (UPI, Slovenia).
INnCREASE Sp. z o.o. is a relatively young but active company that positions itself as a high quality provider of innovation services, business consultancy and partner for implementation of international projects. INnCREASE operates horizontally for innovation promotion along many industries, working closely with stakeholders of various sectors. Dlearn The European Digital Learning Network – DLEARN – is a non-profit association. It aims to embrace the challenges brought by the digital transformation in terms of digital skills mismatch and digital learning opportunities.
DLEARN wants to bring closer the experiences and the voices of local territories and people to EU policies. Nowadays this process is hindered by the presence of bigger interests, notably big corporation or umbrella organizations. With our activities and through our network we want to minimize this gap, through the achievement of bottom up initiatives, such as:
- Closer cooperation and enhancement of our activities to a higher level through periodic project labs
- Tight networking activities and lobbying to achieve a fruitful accreditation of local needs to the relevant EU Commission DGs
- Improve existing experiences and knowledge of digital learning through sharing of practices and creation of efficient business opportunities.
DomSpain Consulting is an adult education and training centre specialised in the field of education and training, occupational, social and intercultural skills, languages and new technologies.
DomSpain offers a wide range of courses and workshops to adult learners, private entities and public bodies within the Tarragona province. In addition, it organises, designs and runs all types of trainings, immersion programmes, job shadowing, etc., for students, teachers, academic and administrative staff or people who want to work abroad.
Inova Consultancy Ltd (UK) provides a flexible consultancy service that responds to the needs of organisations and individuals internationally in the area of diversity, equal opportunities and entrepreneurship. Inova has specialist experience in the development and delivery of coaching and mentoring programmes in the UK and on an international level for women in a range of fields, including entrepreneurship, management and STEM. Led by a director originally from Mexico, they are experts in the needs of migrants starting businesses in a new country.
Inova’s employees and associates combine experience and qualifications in organisational development, psychology, mentoring and coaching in addition to bringing in best practice from across Europe to assist organisations and individuals in the field of personal and business development.
The Lifelong Learning Platform (LLL-P) is an umbrella organisation that gathers 40 European networks active in the field of education and training, coming from all EU Member States and beyond. Currently these organisations represent more than 50 000 educational institutions (schools, universities, adult education and youth centres, etc.) or associations (involving students, teachers and trainers, parents, HRD professionals, etc.) covering all sectors of formal, non-formal and informal learning. Their members reach out to several millions of beneficiaries.
Established in 2005, LLL-P promotes a vision of lifelong learning based on equity, social cohesion, active citizenship and personal development. The platform works as a space for knowledge exchange between its member networks and uses their expertise to discuss and feed in EU policy-making, making sure that European citizens have their voice heard. In that sense LLL-P contributes to a better understanding and dialogue between the grassroots level and European institutions.
Platon Schools (Kindergarten – Primary – Secondary – Lifelong Learning Centre) is a modern educational institution with 650 learners and 120 staff. Through the use of the most up-to-date facilities, a diverse curriculum, experienced and skilled teaching staff and, most importantly, through consistency on principles and respect towards pupils and parents, our school has been struggling during the last ten years for the accomplished education of our pupils.
Platon’s staff design and develop learning and teaching material in formal and informal methods. Implement this material and methods in ordinary program and in parallel school activities. Also has coordinated and gained expertise in a Minerva project regarding Open educational resources. The school staff has trained and applied many innovative activities in all grades.
UPI – ljudska univerza Žalec is a public, non-profit institution for education and training of adults in the Savinja Valley region, Slovenia. It is specialized in diverse range of formal (primary school for adults and vocational programs) and non-formal education programmes (computer, language, literacy programs, workshops and courses for free time, health, dance and music etc.) Further, it provides quality guidance and counselling services to different target groups of adults such as the unemployed, migrants, NEETs, seniors and adults in general. In our numerous national and international projects (Erasmus+) we closely work with stakeholders on the local, national as well as the European level. We are committed to the path of lifelong learning and constantly strive to improve our education programmes according to the needs of our target groups.
